2024 is not the year for over-the-top, bright, or loud design choices, which we’re pleased to embrace. It’s more about subtle luxury and minimalist design by incorporating high-quality materials and simple shapes. Overall, this trend is all about simplifying: less clutter, more white space, cleaner lines, and muted tones. Matchy-matchy is out, and mixing metals is in. No need to coordinate your fixtures down to every knob and hinge—in fact, a brass faucet paired with nickel drawer handles in the same room is totally acceptable. Explore our Tailored Industrial collection which fulfills this trend to perfection with chrome fixtures mixed with black metal accents to achieve a high-contrast, bold, yet comfortable statement.
Bring some zen to your home this year by incorporating spa vibes and soothing tones into your space—specifically, bathrooms. Look for blonde woods, organic materials, handmade goods, and nature-based warm and cool tones mixed together (soft grays, crisp whites, honey, and cinnamon). The Zen Sanctuary collection is a tranquil retreat with rich textures that add subtle visual interest and combined architectural elements like linear slatted wood, curvilinear forms, and sculptural lighting reminiscent of your favorite 5-star spa.
Expansive windows and glass doors that can be left open allow the serenity of outside to be brought indoors, which is another major trend for 2024, and is also something you will find in many of our new homes. Likewise, painting and decorating your inside spaces with an exterior palette (creamy cloud-like whites or light sky blues) brings the brightness of the outdoors into your home. Our Textural Neutral Bobby Berk collection focuses on furniture with clean and simple lines but also showcases neutral colors like white, cream, putty and shades of gray to effortlessly combine the indoor and outdoor worlds.
Subway and other standard tiles are great, but a little more texture, movement, and color in your accent tiles is even better according to this emerging trend. Backsplashes don’t need to be basic—embrace something more geometric, imperfect, or surprising for an added fun, yet subtle, element in bathrooms and kitchens.
